That’s why, after many years of working in the shoe industry, we decided to set up Pump & Circumstance; a family-run business situated in a lovely fishing village in Devon in south-west England. But we’re pleased to say that as we ship anywhere, our ballet flats have found good homes all over the world.

All our shoes are made and hand–finished in small, exclusive factories. We carefully picked these suppliers because we felt they shared the same ethos as us: beautiful flat shoes, lovingly made with soft, supple leathers and an understanding that comfortable can also mean chic.
Our beautiful slippers and bridal pumps are 100% silk. And our ballet flats are made from lamb or calf leather; durable but incredibly soft leathers.
